I strive to be a same level of unbothered as Professor Bhaer in this scene.

Louis garrel ❤ . I watch this film because of him. But he is french and play french, when professor is German, strange... P.S. Joe act so stupid in this moment (in book, I mean), he say true and nothing else... And she 😅... She is so much girl in this moment. Her emancipation is gone 😅

@elianne4753 Жыл бұрын
This movie did the Professor’s character dirty. The 90s version is much more faithful to the book. He’s Jo’s equal & balances her well, but he’s diminished in this version. He was right to criticize her work, she was just chasing the dollar at that point. He wanted her to write what SHE was passionate about, which is what LMA wanted for herself.

@liubovlily49632 ай бұрын
@@emi283 In the book 'worse', perhaps, his looks are, but as a person he is very good in the book. He cares about Jo's soul, and is sincerely upset that such stories are even published (not knowing that she is the author). And in this adaptation he is just a weak and undeveloped character.

Any Armenians like me who were positively surprised and proud to hear the guy at 0:27 speak in Armenian? Lol, that really shocked me, I was like "wait a minute, pause, rewind, am I going crazy or did I really just hear Armenian language?" haha 🇦🇲😂 To anyone wondering he told her that she was so beautiful, that in reality he had never met a girl as beautiful as her, and asked her why she didn't dance, he told her "come, let's dance" 😂

Louisa loved philosopher Henry Thoreau. Greta Gerwig spent millions of dollars promoting hate speech against his character, saying that Jo and Laurie should be together while simultaneously saying that Jo should be alone. She didn´t do any research on Louisa and on top of that made racist statements on Jo´s love interest. Louisa wanted to marry Henry and start a school with him. Louisa was extremely lonely. Henry passed away when she was 28. Louisa writes in her letters how she envies her sisters marital happiness and she is incredibly lonely. Gerwig just showed the finger to the entire novel.
