Fabulous tour! I I love your jewelry! 1. wish you could come to Atlanta and design a similar Alys Beach community here. I know we do not have a beach but the homes would adapt to the hot climate here very well.

Very interesting to see artist from my home county. I haven’t lived there for over 35 years but go home to see family frequently. I’ll have to visit the galleries now that I’ve found them.

Alys beach is so inspiring and well designed, you can feel the passion and the attention to details at every corner, and it is well built. My dream is to live there...

I would love a version of this video with way less showing the woman talking and way more shots of the town.

Well Doug, after 30 years you’re still making it look easy. Beautiful thought and atmosphere. I like that you still have the giant schnauzer. Are you a full time painter now? Underground Atlanta seems a long time ago, and I know it’s had a peak and fall that I’m not unhappy to have missed, but it was a great couple of years. Very happy to see you living the panhandle life and being creative. Best wishes, Patricia Anderson.

I have long admired your paintings. This has been most illuminating!!! I cannot thank you enough! I know about glazing; I love Naples Yellow for paintings here! I had never seen anyone use a straight edge as you did--maybe once or twice in a painting, but not as you did. This was most helpful to me. I look at a beautiful water and marsh view all day every day, and I would love to be able to capture it even one-one-hundredth as well as you do. Thank you so very, very much!!! Come to see me if you are ever in Palmetto Bluff. I can arrange a stay for you, too--just because I would like to thank you for your generosity!!! Ida George
