So the name of the technique is Kiu Sau. The form which I created for this series is Ying Kuen or in English Shadow Fist.

the symbolism comes from the hong mun, or the hongmen brothers also called the Heaven and Earth Society, a secret society in china during the qing dynasty. Overthrow the Qing, Restore the Ming. One of their main saying was "All Men are Brothers under One Heaven" or under the great heaven, i forgot the exact saying. So eventually they became two separate entities, one entity became pretty much what the Triad gangs became in southern china, and the other entity followed the codes and a tradition and patriotism, and are more akin to modern secret societies like the freemasons, no criminal element at all. They are all over southern china. Hong Mun are very big in taiwan too, in fact, chang kai shek was a member. And they have a huge political influence there. Its cool to see that the man in the video knows the symbolism behind the forms, usually hung kuen teachers would only teach the movements, the names and the applications, lol, even chinese sifus wouldn't bother teaching this stuff these days.
