The AI first lap performance leaves something to be desired. Here you actually played gentle with them instead of passing half the field at will on the first few breaking zones.

I completely agree with you, and in the rain, it gets even worse, but after the first lap, when the cars distance themselves, it becomes really fun to compete against the AI.

The B727 is available at Flight Sim Studios website, regarding The FE, you can do his work by yourself, or using that small cellphone to select The flight phases. Thanks for your comment

Just a question last night I was flying and setting flaps and I would constantly get that beep noise also when reducing speed I'd get the constant ringing is this normal?

Perhaps you are referring to the landing gear alarm? Whenever you or the autothrottle reduce the engine to idle and the landing gear is up, the alarm sounds. For me, the constant trim motion sound, is a little bit anoying. Lets hope they improve that. Tks for your comment.
