That is the same spot I stayed at about 15 years ago. It was pretty trashed up then, glad to see its been cleaned up. I volunteer working on the Allegheny Trail that runs close to there and we stay in that area all the time while doing trail maintenance. Love Pocahontas County and the Greenbrier Ranger District for the camping that's available.

We enjoyed our stay in the mountains! It was beautiful! We did pass up a camp site due to trash. However, later that week we cleaned that site while fishing the area. Thanks for helping keep the trail maintained! We loved hiking and fishing! Overall it was one of our favorite national forest we have visited! Thanks for watching and sharing!

Yes, those were the ones we fished! I asked some locals and they gave me some good spots to check! It was beautiful! Good luck!!

If you ever come back try camping along Elk River near Webster Springs, Williams River near Richwood or Cranberry River near Richwood. Awesome camping and trout fishing.

You guys have a wonderful fishery! I have been going up there for almost 40 years now! The people I meet up there while I'm fishing are wonderful and friendly! It was on the Little River in the national forest. That site was the one before the bridge. If you need more information let me know, I would have to look up road names and nearest towns.
