We really have two seasons in a given year and can have all 4 in one day during the shoulder seasons. Southern Alberta can get brutally hot with temps nearing 117°F in summer to Northern Alberta getting brutally cold with temps below -45°F in winter. We get violent thunderstorms and tornadoes in spring and summer, and blizzards in winter.

This is where REAL Canadians live! I grew up here. A rich history of western Europeans who built Canada. My grandpa emigrated from Denmark to Canada. It's not the same Canada as it was when I grew up there, but it will always be a western European country in my eyes - built by those who had the fortitude to endure cold winters, and hot, dry summers.
