@@DongsaiCarStylingsweet, I’m exploring replacing my fender emblems because when I was detailing my car, apparently one of the clips broke off from the fender trim. Think it happened from the dealership repairing my left fender, so they had to pry the fender trim off, guess they fucked up. OEM carbon fiber ones are like $600 per side. Although RW has one for $540 including both sides. Appreciate it

Completely wrong. You need remove the glass and then undo the clips from behind - takes literally 1 minute. This method breaks all the tabs and potentially damages the actual wing mirror so the new cover might not even be able to clip on after

Hey mate, if this is the first time u do this on your own, this might not be a good sample for u. But some tuning stores will do in this way, you can choose the one with less risk to install your mirror cover :)

Hey mate, all of our parts with OEM bolts holes, you don't have to add self-tapping screws if you just use for daily driving. But if you like racing fast, then you will need to add some self-tapping bolts in the middle of the front splitter. If you always drive fast over then 150km/h, I will recommend you add some self-tapping screws.

Hi mate, this is not a cracked. It is designed like this. This front lip has enough support points to keep the front lip steady, so we remove some space for fitting points. You can check G26 front lip that people are selling on the internet, check the fitting points and compare with us, you will understand.

if you are not buying carbon parts purely for performance benefits (shaving off weight) then there's no reason to buying dry carbon IMO most of the people will never tell the difference between the two

~Fake video: This isn't dry vs wet carbon....the wet mirror cap is a layer over plastic, and no one says you can't have the same 2mm thickness in wet. This video is only accurate in comparing full good quality dry carbon real mirror caps vs cheaper ~knockoffs so be careful from what you take from this.

You have no clue about what you are talking about. The wet cover is heavier because of the plastic mounting part and therefore it's also thicker. You are not comparing apples to apples here. And the yelling idiot is because of the final clear coat layer which has nothing to do with the production method wet vs dry. Lastly, the distortion in the weave has to do with the fabricator experience.

Actually you can catch same weight with wet carbon . I think this is a wrong compare. Because one part is a full carbon other part is a wrap on the plastic. Prepreg always good to way production but if you know process you can do same think with wet layup

@@alextoader2880 Aha, I think by far there is no factory will sell these pins, that why for the mirror cap, if people don't have a factory to produce, they have to add the carbon fiber layer on the OEM mirror to make sure the fitment is good. And that's also wet carbon, in dry carbon, you will need to put more investment to produce that.

NOOOO.. I used this technique and it breaks the plastic clips and ruined my mirror cap!!!... you need to remove the mirror glass first, then release the tabs for the mirror cap from the inside!
