I kinda disagree with guard being replaceable. Mainly if the person ends up being a very high end player. And that's for any position spot. Because if they can stay healthy and end up being a all pro/pro bowl player. Or even a possible hof player. You can't really replace those types. Any team will suffer in that spot. If they are a high end player and are let go or dumped onto another team. Because there have been cases where subtraction has equaled just plain subtraction.(old saying of addition thru subtraction)And teams end up suffering for it. And i don't think people have looked at this enough. We won 7 games, with literally one of the top 5 worse qb rooms of all time. In this past season. lol Just think if we had Tyrod Taylor as a back up last year, then over zach. I wouldn't be surprised we had 2 or 3 more wins last year because of it. Because most of those losses, were because of a lack of qb play.(which was next to none, in most of those games) Frankly i think mainstream media in general just flat out don't like us. And i really don't think that will change any time soon. My theory is that they just don't like the owner of the team. And he could literally be a super nice dude, for the rest of his life. And it wouldn't matter to the mainstream media. And you factor in having rodgers, which also the media hates. And well we get the results we are seeing, writing wise and reporting wise from the mainstream media.

Hopefully that monster of a man and personality TS will shield Olu, and others from Carter's nonsense. I think Smith could coach this OL no question and do about 1000% better than the crap show that is Carter. And also, Sister Mary Margarete from the local nunnery can also coach the OL better than Carter. Or maybe a kindergartener might work as well and cheaper (I hear they work for gogurt and grapes)

Give Reddick a 2 year extension, plus a 3rd year club option if his production is star caliber.
