This is beautiful. I adore Nels Cline - a true guitar inspiration at all times. And of course, Glen Kotche is a master of his instrument. Thanks for posting and greetings from Melbourne Australia (I saw Wilco when they visited here this year - as well as twice before - once before Nels Cline had joined the band!).

Always feels weird to see a musician look at sheet music during a Jazz gig ... but the music is great so I can't complain !

Looks like she's using a Yamaha Tenori-On, 2 Moog synths (probably DFAM and Subharmonicon, from the look of it) and probably Ableton Live.

I was there. Both of his performances that day were so loud, dark, dissonant, & heavy, it immediately chased all the hipsters & tourists right outta the room. My kinda stuff lol.

I know Cyro from his work with Trey Anastasio, but had no idea he played with Nels as well... now I love him even more, that man is a legend! Thanks for uploading this vid :-)

First 6 1/2 minutes are boooring -they are bored also. This is how a great group self-destructs: self indulgence. Oh well, they were 'it' for awhile.

Crowd was really into it, actually a little rowdy in a good way! The trio is top-notch, but adding Marshall Allen was just amazing; he had the room in the palm of his hand. Every song had a surprise from him. So inspiring at 92 years old, and still blowing minds!

Right on, Peter! That's why I created this channel: to document the endless creativity & energy Nels has, when he's not already blowing minds in Wilco. Plus, he's one of the most generous, coolest dudes around. Glad you like it! Check out the Baltimore 2014 video here, to see him in action with the Nels Cline Singers.

***** It's amazing how Nels is able to morph in to any band that he plays with, and just takes things to a whole other level, with his special Nelsness
