Very interesting new product I enjoy building ho slot cars and racing them I have a few t-jets But I have not built a fray car yet it’s been sitting on the back burner time to move it up to the front of the stove and start cooking👍

Hi, very helpful video. Can you please share where you got the Endbell brush tool that files down the brushes in this video. I thought you said it was a product from “Onslaught”, a link would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Great video, RC. You said, "You do not want the magnets tight. If the magnets are tight, that can cause all kinds of problems." Can you please elaborate? I always heard you want to shim the magnets as close to the arm as possible (without violating the .700" rule) which will not only prevent them from jumping up during top plate removal and reinstallation, but also maximizes the magnetic field during operation.
@wizzardhighperformance2236 Жыл бұрын
The most common issue with magnets being too tight is the chassis can bind when the wall is hit. A common occurance is that the car will be riding squarely on all four tires and after a wallshot, one front tire is off the track slightly. shimming them isnt a problem, just make sure they can still move without much effort.

You know, if someone would get the bright idea to make the chassis out of teflon, we wouldn't have to worry about constantly lubricating them.

Cool tool. I've had one of the cylinders for years. Some thing that will make it even better is to add 3 score marks around the OD 120 degrees apart to simulate the comm slots. That way you can see where the brushes fall on the comm segments.

This build tutorial is really good. Other than the off cam illustration during the brush install, other than that, I have a really good idea of how to build this chassis. Thank you so much; it should be easy enough. It looks easier than most builds of other chassis types.

If that's only a three foot straight, then that's a pretty friggin' fast pancake car. Does it have neo mags in it or what? Looks like a Fray setup but damn!

Adrian yes we are still in business, we were trying to check with the supplier status, it was 1 day ago you left the message. You will have to email an order for outside the US, the website will not allow orders outside of the US for security and shipping reasons

I'll give that try. Question: It looks like you're using flat motor brushes. I've seen brushes online that are in 2 different sizes .067 and .072 can I use both of these in my WizzJet, TDash and T-jet cars?
@wizzardhighperformance22362 жыл бұрын
Randy, The size will only have an effect on tension, you can use any height brush. The most important thing about the brush is the material. In short yes all T-Jet style cars take the same brushes

Thank you for this play list. I will probably never race in the Fray, but you have shown how to keep a T-Jet ready to run in top notch condition. I have a Dash car in front of me that is really wobbly in all aspects. I just want to make sure my Aurora, AW and Dash cars are ready for the grand kids to use at any time and know they will just work. Gene, Ramsay MT
