You’re right… freckles are sun damage. What this creator has is “Solar lentigines”(I googled it)… its freckles… but they are different from “Ephelides”… “solar lentigines” has clear boarders unlike “ephelodes” where the boarders are irregular or undefined… “solar lentigines” does not change for the season (no fading) unlike “ephelodes” which does change depending on the season (lightens during winter). Anyway she has freckles from repeated sun exposure.
