I remember in 1970, I was ten and the girl across the street (maybe 3 years older than me), saved her money and bought the album 'Abby Road'. About a half dozen of the neighborhood kids huddles around her record player and listened to the album from beginning to end. I have to admit I was confused, especially by side 2. But I always knew that there was something special about this melody and beat and transitions. I'm 65 and still enjoy it ... and so do my kids!

This Album was and still is a masterpiece, the words the music, the iconic cover and words printed inside. I can still remember holding this album when it first came out, I still have it. I have it on my phone, and have the absolute pleasure of listening to it on my AirPods but I still like to hold the album in my hands now and again.

The Beatles are indeed a great gift from God. Through their music and lovely demeanor, they provide us with a certain feeling that is indescribable. Emotions that exudes love, peace, hope, and happiness. We dearly miss John and George but are very fortunate to still have Paul and Ringo with us. It is up to our generation and all the generations after us to keep the music of the Beatles alive and the most listened to. The Beatles for ever! Love and peace to everyone.

What is the EXACT release this came from? The mixing is incredible.

Just before this came out I was nine years old and was knocked down on a zebra crossing by a white Volkswagen just up the road from Abbey Road and spent three months in hospital with a broken leg, dislocated neck, and serious internal injuries. I always used to wonder if it was the same white Volkswagen that's on the album cover!

Why did ringo have an alter ego (Billy shears) but no one else did? Is it because he sang A little help from my friends?

Perfection; written in late `68 or early `69. Eclectic; enigmatic, eccentric- brilliant snap shots of the genius of John, Paul, George and Ringo. All this remember before the `prog` bands of the late `60`s early `70`s started producing side long fiddly diddly epics. The musicianship is ace! The Bass is outstanding; Lead guitar pitched perfectly; an array of keys helping to enhance the sound pictures; the drums are spot on. No finer example of the sublime fab four.
