for upscayl there is a batch upscale option which allows you to upscale a whole folder in one and it is pretty fast. so far so good!!

The batch only converts back to png ... and then you have reconvert to jpeg using another program. only single images can convert to jpegs for upscayle

"Upscale" does NOT mean, "remove blur". If you have hi-res blurred photos, upscale does nothing. Seems you need, "enhance"?

I been using some free and paid AI photo programs for the last few months. A few of the programs I noticed is that when it do the upscale/sharpening process what it does is cut the image into thousands or millions of squares and individually enhancing each one. So for those programs that cut the images like that if you zoom in you would see the squares that don't line up correctly. Compared to the original where if you zoom in you just see the blurry effect. The program that I did not see that does that is Upscayl. My recommendation is when testing these AI apps to zoom into the enhanced images to check it out.
