Complicating it too much with matrix and instances for no reason.

@@xSpiiXeL instances is to keep geometry procedural. But of course you can work with converted geometry,if it’s okay for you

You think is better to shut down the music or just make it quiet? Always doubt what’s gonna be better..for me without music it’s kind a boring😅

I love the way you explain things and talk through the positives and drawbacks of each approach. Often there are so many ways to achieve one effect and it's good to think the process of the workflow clearly like this.

Thank you, for me the best way to learn something is to figure out how to approach problems. That's the main idea I try to stick with making videos!

I think this one is my favorite method. The simulation method is a bit unpredictable while the character method is a lot of process. Cool series 👍

Thank. My choice is to use IK Spline, in my opinion it gives more opportunity in animation, but yeah....it takes more time...

When adding the shader effector to add the animation in the Y-axis and nothing happens - Go into: Rope tag > shading: right at the bottom you will see a box called 'time dependent' -- tick this ON. Now you should see the noise effect the animation.

Great tutorial, but you have missed a few steps. As stemfourvisual said - the vertex map needs to go into the rope tag i order to see any movement.
