This sound like exactly what Tim did at TBT tuning. How did you shorten the cocking arm?

@craigbrowne8563 l did my first one about 6 years ago, where the arm connects to the lever, there's a punch mark, 3mm drill, then it comes off, then l tapped and put a grub screw to secure.

@@shaneweightman Cheers Shane. My Fienwerkbau is about 40 years old. It had Barrel Droop. By rectifying this It and my accuracy went AWOL! I grouped on a five pound NOTE!.Of course...One can accostom to a droopy barrel because Fore site and rear site both sit on the barrel. The FWB droop was visibly drooping! Wow! Today at 25 yards with Fixed sights it could group in an inch circle Standing ,no rest!GB

@@phillipsharpe6459 thanks for asking buddy , still alive , recently had an ulcer on my eyeball , had scaffolding on my house twice in 4 months , been on hols ,, busy with life , hope you are fine, won’t be doing many more videos , if any at all , haven’t been shooting for a few wks , find it that easy it’s got boring ,with rifles bench rested , pistols are more of a challange, and I don’t need to leave the house to do that one ,,, cheers shane , take care

@@leahjackson7661 I’ve never put thought in to how loud a springer gun is , because I live in a built up sort of neighbourhood, we’re people all make noise and don’t seem to care or have any sort of respect for, others , by nature of the springer action, they are never gonna be whisper quiet like a pcp , I’ve seen people putting silencers or muzzles on springers but that’s more for downrange rapport, so other rabbits etc don’t hear them , , also tuned springers are normally a bit quieter ,,, hope that helps somewhat , however if noise was , main concern and i shot mostly in my garden , I would get a pcp , some of those are mouse territory in noise ,,,,,,, cheeers shane

@@capricorn1765 thanks for the question, 57 is a nice gun but , pushing down the thingy, can’t remember what it’s called , after putting a pellet in is a ball ache , I would suggest a 99s break barrel , or a gun with a rep a 95 ,, but the 99s is light and fairly well balanced , it’s a pit of hard decisions,, hope I’ve been some help , Shane

Thankyou for your prompt response Shane I appreciate it 👍, will take a look at the 99s . I see you also own a Remington express xp too , have heard mixed reviews on them , is your experience with the Remington a good one , or is it a rifle that is just average at best ?

​@capricorn1765 I have owned the remington xp tactical and I be one hundred percent honest, it wasn't a good gun. I saved up a few quid and got the HW98 and it is absolute perfection. I've has it over a year now and it is in .177 and I shoot QYS streamline pellets or Bisley magnum pellets both hit home perfect. It's well balanced and a beautiful gun

@@johnwright7109 thanks for the comment buddy , at the moment and past , left eye dominant, however a year ago I was diagnosed with glaucoma and a cataract on my eyes , so anyone’s guess in the future , but I’ll stay optimistic, think you will be happy with the gun , John ,, take care buddy Shane

@@shaneweightman hope mate you be ok 👍 I've get a slight cataracts in my right eye, I shoot my pistols with R hand and aim with L eye, but with getting my 1st rifle, might have to learn to fire with L hand. But was told in using a scope and my glasses I might able to train right eye, but will find my way and see 👀 what the best. I've sub you. Atb John

@@Den-iy1xt thanks buddy, over a 20 yr period , I owned 3 blackbirds , 4 blades , limited edition Hyabusa , plus about another 18 bikes , including a vtr SP1 , have pictures of almost all of them , had some nice quick cars as well , wasn’t mad into my guns back then , and likely wouldn’t have had much time to shoot them as I had 2 jobs for a while ,, take care mate thanks for the comment , already got 3 videos to upload shortly , another 2 pistol vids , then a rifle one , thanks shane
