Surajpur Bird Sancturary is going to die soon and we wont see any migratory birds if we don’t take appropriate steps to save it soon. We visited the wetland on 18th Jan 2025 to find out that dirty water is being pushed into the wetlands and the place is very stinky now. Bird population this is year is very low, specially around the area where this dirty water merges with the wetland. Majority part of wetland has black and stinky water. This year, there were few birds on the other end of the wetland and if it remains to happen like this, we wont see migratory birds in few years. Not only migratory birds but also the native wildlife is in danger.
