Garrett, Well Done. I stumbled across you as mnay have in the series, TULSA KING & must say while Mr. Stallone is an industry icon this show could easily have a spin-ff or continue down paths few of us ever imagined with you being the driving force as the show's front-runner...My understanding is you guys are filming season 2 now or perhaps already have (would love to give the casting company a new old amateur face to contribute in some way...my avatar or whatever it is called is actually me...I'm a little older than most people guess but not as old as Sly or as young as you... Anycase, my compliment was directed to you both for your smooth, natural, real-man persona you project in the series...very fluid, nothing seems forced, methodical, rigid or lacking in anyway...obviously, a profession you have worked many years to perfect...also seemed like you sincerely enjoyed some of the scenes if not all.... EVEN MORE impressive was learning you learned how to play the guitar after you had already secured many roles as an actor. While I am a Gen X'er (think that's what the young peope refer to my generation as, born 1966 with teenage years in the 80s) that has done extensive amount of public speaking, radio and TV all as a guest and or being interviewed I had the most enjoyment jamming with a few of the guys who use to work for me...They are 15 years younger if not more....my closest friend at the time is crazy talented with the guitar...lead guitar and he actually was the go-to contract guitarist if a big name band doing shows in our city and for whatever reason found themselves down a lead guitarist he would step in....for our band we played gigs primarily in a rather well-known on the music circuit much more than it is with the general population, Birmingham, AL...has or had one of the strongest music scenes in the country....with many big name acts, groups, solo artist that played more rock-n-roll and or blues type music would often do a handful of shows at the club we performed at more than others, a dump called THE NICK...When a big internationally acclaimed artist or band haven't toured in awhile they wouldn't advertise nor would the local people know until they entered this dump...holds 250 people max and that's being very cramped...baack in the day, bands like: Red Hot Chili Peppers, 311, Black Flag, Jane's Addiction, the Black Crowes, Widespread Panic, Kings of Leon Weezer, Korn, Maroon 5, John Mayer, Black Keys. Black Crowes..and many others resulting in one of the world’s most famous rock-stars dubbed The Nick, “Birmingham’s dirty little secret"... Huey Lewis & The News from the 80's actually has a line in one of their songs about the music scene on Bham's Southside...as did many others before and after. Of course, the "Shoals" area of Alabama, North of Birmingham is the most famous with a tiny recording studio that had the world's most famous and iconic artist record albums there...Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Aretha Franklin, BB King, Buddy Guy and many others... Point being, when took the stage at the NICK or any of the venues of the Southside you couldn't afford not to perform.... The guys I played with did all original tunes and no covers when did live shows....we even were invited and recorded 6 tracks for a mini-CD at the time at Michael McDonald's recording studio south of Nashville....my last time on stage was a 3 night gig on the famed SunSet Strip in California at the iconic Whiskey a-GO-GO... The most fun was to jam at our "pad"...we messed around with ton of covers but never did one live as a group....To write a song, then put music to it and pull everything together is much more complex than people think....None of us had a voice that seperated us really especially since the lead singer was out of it most of the time....I did step out from behind my TAMA drum set to be the front man a few times but normally played and sang while playing the drums....Our music was heavily influenced by Rolling-Stones, The Cult, Southern Rock-n-Roll groups from the 70s and countless Blues musicians...Dabbled in real country every now and then but even then was more a blues type country mix...nothing on the leel of the best artitist alive today IMO, Chris Stapleton but we tried... I share all of that to simply say this, I WAS IMPRESSED with the sampling of your musical talent you displayed on the Show especially the season 1 finale...IF PARAMOUNT OWNS THE RIGHTS INFLUENCE THEM TO ALLOW YOU TO RECORD EACH COVER IN FULL AND SPLIT PROFITS WITH YOU...I know I would purchase them...the few songs I've heard that you've posted to youTube are very good as well...The actor in Yellowstone, Bingham, that always had a guitar in his hand and was allowed to perform within confines of the script caused many people to begin following and purchasing his work.... Apologize for the rambling, just good to see and from all accounts to know you're a good man or as my generation would refer to as a "cool-dude"... Good Luck in your future endeavors and if by some miracle you or someone within your inner circle reads this novel please do not hesitate to reach out if an opportunity ever arises whereby I could at the least be given a chance to do things I've always dreamed of doing...Acting and or music...Take Care

@garretthedlund How in the world am I JUST NOW discovering you and that AMAZING voice of yours??? It's Nov.2023 and I came across your video in someone else's Playlist! VERY RANDOM and I'M VERY BLESSED!!! I discovered Country music as a transplant from NJ to VA as a child... then back to NJ! Here I've remained, but even though I couldn't adapt to country life, I still love the people I met and brought memories with me that helped me into adulthood. I have kids now who only hear their Momma slip into a Southern dialect every so often, but recently took them to SC and we drove through some of my country life... and they are like me- it's nice to visit, we just like being around more people! All this to say, there's not many talented Country singers that I enjoy; but yours, well YOURS is EXCEPTIONAL!!! God Bless You Friend!!!❤🙏🏼🥰✝️🇺🇲
