Stumbling upon your music has been one of the best things that had happened to me in 2024. It has been a rather difficult year for me and the cheerful sound of "Chasing A Memory", "Helvetica" and "Solar Power", just brings me joy, whenever I play the album. I've listened to the whole album so many times, I'd lost counts. I need to learn one of these tunes someday. I've noticed that for Helvetica (from the MV), it's tuned in Eb, are all of them in that tuning?

2:09 nice to finally hear a bridge again! So many new guitarists just focus on riffs and a chorus looparound. Nice tune!

nice try my friend! excuse me for being honest in my opinion that maybe you don't like it, but it doesn't matter. But this looks more like a replica of Bill Connors (who also tried to copy Allan and didn't even get 5%) especially for the chords. There is nothing of Holdsworth here, only the whammy bar in some notes (something characteristic of Allan that is the easiest thing to copy without being so excessive and everybody does it). There are some bluesy stretches upwards on the high notes (Allan almost never did that) ...... lots of pentatonics (Allan avoided them). It would be great to hear “Zack Brannon” and not a pseudo copy of Allan Holdsworth who is inimitable no matter what you do, even using AI you can't. Good luck!

I appreciate you checking out my music! As far as promo goes I usually just do all that myself but if you wanted to use my music in the any of your content it could potentially work well with what you do

What tuning do you use for 7 string?
@ZackBrannonАй бұрын
For this track I used drop A so just lowering the low B down to an A, used on all my 7 string songs!

Hey bud. Don’t worry about any haters. Music is and always has been meant to be enjoyed by all. No matter how you choose to play it. Taking something old and putting your own twist on a piece is a sign of creativity and ingenuity. I’m pretty sure Jimmy himself would at a minimum would shake your hand and play it with you. Keep doing your thing bud.

An older friend recommended Japanese jujutsu to help me relax, at your age, so I'll just leave this here. 23 years in, now; Had another great class, yesterday morning. It's amazing how others chill out because I'm so calm. Nice change in my life (including supporting others who have a history of raging in their trusting that a calm voice can be just as effective--if not more so). Anyway, I hope to learn from the playing, here, and wish you peace.
