I can tell, that I have sold some JA703 to people, that once had a Kangen..! And you can bye at least 2 ps for the same price!

@@alf2143 I must say, that the quality is at least at the same high level! I have only good experience with PurePro... I have been working with other brands too, and these are the best I have been working with...very simple. I would say, that the will work at least 10 years.... But you should clean them for minerals with citric acid...very important!!

Thank you for your time and answers.The machine arrived yesterday and now I ve just finished to set it up.I was doubting about buying pure pro or Kangen,but I d never have bought Kangen because it s a rip off..I ve been drinking distilled water for the last 4 years and I want to give a try to ionized water and its "benefits".If I don t try,I won t know!Thank you.

@@alf2143 It is NOT good to drink water without minerals! You must start up slowly at 8,5 pH...after a week go to 9,0...after a week 9,5...and stay there. And then...you will have some benefits! That's for sure..! And drink 3 liters - or more - every day. Good luck <3

Hi :-) I is properly minerals, that make the problems. Once a month, you should use citric acid to clean the unit. Put it in the mineralport, and turn on slowly the water (purified water, the green one) until the citric acid comes out. Normally 2-3 sec after the water comes out of the stanless steel tube. Then turn the tube-tip up, so the citric acid stays in the machine. And the spout drain tube should also be blocked or lift up in the same level as the top of the machine, so the water stays inside. Let it stay there over the night. Then flus it out next day...let the water run for a half to one minute. Sometimes - and maybe in you're case - you should take the steel tube of, and put it in citric acid. I have seen that a couple of times, that it simply clogged...! Do it all, and then I think you are happy again :-) Sorry for my English...I'm from Denmark...:-D

Hi. You should put citric acid in the mineral port, and then open very slowly the water until you can see the citric comes out, and then turn off the tap water, and then hold the two outputs hi, so the water dosen't run out.... Then wait over the night and then flush it all out with "general cleaning" - water for about 30 sec. Do it once a month...:-)

@@larskirkegaard7448 Thanks for your tip, the JA703 didn't survive the case holding the plates cracked after 5 years of use. bought the JA 2000 under sink unit last year and use a separate hose and pump to run Vinegar solution through the machine to decals it quite good, will try the citric acid solution next time.

@@MrPhotomania The JA2000 is also a great ioniser, but it didn't have a "mineralport", so you can't do it as I described. But you can use citric acid instead of vinegar with your pump....it dosen't smell...:-)
