Nightmare...our recess was not square...beware of this before you order !!! Had to cut to fit and use silicone around the frame to block out light...you can see why bloc blinds ONLY supply them and do NOT fit them........not worth the money imo

You have to turn the wand like 1cm in home position (wand inside nook thingy) left/right until you feel a click. don't big-motion twist the whole rod like I did. the manual was straight up wrong too, guys from the store had to come in and show me.

well mine is plaster board, and the nails are no bigger than what you would use to hang nails on the wall. Nails went in very easily with a small hammer, suggest having a bit of cardboard against the top so stop any unintentional marks

Why are the photos and videos of all of your products so terrible? I've not managed to find a single detailed photo or video that shows details, which is strange if you're very proud of them.

Does opting for the motorized option effect the blackout capabilities / allow for more light leak? What smart controls (alexa, smartthings etc) are available for the motorized version? how is the motorized version powered; is it wireless/battery powered?

All our blinds are from Blocblinds. The easyfit roller blinds are a godsend! Just need them to invent a solution for my square bay window!!

In case anyone's wondering about the side rails, you don't need to fit the blind into them. Just make sure the handle is on the inside when you tuck the top of the rail into the cassette (which is a tight fit, give it a shove).

Yes that's great, but how do I install them. Your instructions are not clear, the phone number for help is invalid. The instructions state to look on youtube but the instructions for THESE blinds do not exist.

I just installed this in my not so perfect window frame and it went great. Getting the plastic end of the handle into the metal channel was the only tricky bit really. 👍

In the other video from these guys you can see light at the bottom corners - do they have this when fitted at home? I need a total blackout for migraine :)

@@viixy364 yes it does let the smallest bit of light in at the corners, but I have this blind fitted in the recess and regular curtains over the window and that eliminates any stray light I would recommend buying it there's nothing else on the market that compares really.

Bending the tape measure like shown in the video doesn't actually provide an accurate measurement. You should put the body of the tape measure in the gap and add the length of that to the measurement on the tape. Tape measures normally state their length on the side

Tried this 5 times and it doesn’t connect. Although I’ve tried on 2.4g, I can’t believe the bridge doesn’t work on 5g. 5g has been around for years now!

The egde fit version seems to be able to fit more wonky window sills. Not sure if edge fit is newer than recess fit. kzbin.info/www/bejne/enOqeoKvg9NlZqc

Hey just a hint on measuring these to fit the recess, we measured tight to the window frame but because they were new windows that had been plastered in, the recess was bigger the farther you got from the window frame. Meaning our blind is too small.

not quite blackout, that little point of light would annoy you on your tv screen for sure, you fixed that yet?

No they haven’t, just installed one and the light still leaks through the bottom right and left corners. Personally I’m still happy with the blind overall, we replaced a traditional blackout roller with this and now our toddler doesn’t wake up at 5am when the sun comes up 👍
