Very cool Fun video. Love these kind of Races. That camera man was steady as a🗿 Wish they had such races in Arizona. What mount/tripod so you use? I started using a BOG Deathgrip tripod. Had to try it when I daw it in sale. Heaviest Device with night vesion or thermal optics I've used was 12 pounds. Super steady. Even with a good breeze. I needed a tall but sometimes a ground mount. The deathgrips legs go to 90° Its stable Even close to the action having dirt sprayed at it.

Something you may not have known, but going on in the background of this event. On 7-30-24, Monroe County had one of the largest fire department responses in the county's history since 1989. A fire broke out in the Shopping Center not too far from the Fairgrounds, which quickly rose to 5th Alarm. There was a lot of issues with the heat which caused a lot of manpower shortage. All 18 departments in the county were requested in some way or another, including people standing by at the fair for the Derby.

62 throttle must of got stuck open . He made zero hits beside the wall and bent his own frame. Should have just thorn the car into neutral and figured it out

Been watching lots of derby on KZbin, 1 thing that is prevalent, Michigan drivers tend to be really soft, lots of sandbagging and weak driving

My father raced Michigan Figure Eights with Sunny from 1999-2008!! How they still finding Steel Lagunas & Malibus & the kind of cars needed for this race is beyond me!! They were hard to find back then.
