Have to give recognition to the crusader's coach. Of the few matches I've seen, they are all highly focused, aggressive, strike like a cobra without hesitation and dominant. That's good training and it shows.

Girl in the Blue needs to stop getting her head stuck between the opponents legs when she does takedowns. She can't rely on a head and arm against bettor wrestlers.

Marco, as usual, is quicker and more skilled. He is the kind of wrestler, that, when he loses, is not because his opponent was better, it is because he was not in a good day.

Since the winner is Forbes and the artist raises his arm (red) there must be an error in the title of the video regarding the color of the bracelets, right? Forbes (R) and Tait (G) and not the other way around... 🤗 @MidwestWrestle
@MidwestWrestleКүн бұрын
I do make that mistake from time to time, but in this case it turns out to be the result of how the home team initially rolled out the mats. In this case, they set up the mats with the green and red starting lines on the wrong sides. Notice how they conflict with the referee's wristbands? The fact that he raised Forbes' hand with his left (red) arm was just a coincidence caused by the fact that the mat was set up incorrectly. The green starting line should have been on the referee's right, in which case Forbes would have been standing to his right, and the referee would have used his right (green) arm to raise Forbes' arm. Very astute observation, though!

@@MidwestWrestle Thank you very much for this explanation, I understand better now! 😉 The fact of not having green and red bracelets on the ankles should be sanctioned, that would perhaps avoid this kind of mistake? Whatever... Thank you for the great work you do! 👌

these guys are really tall and since the weight class system could make them wrestle much shorter boys my question is if that would require a special strategy from both of them?

I'm a newbie by here: Can a fighter press purposely the opponet head/face to the ground, using left hand, as we see in 2:39??? And again at 2:54, using his thorax weight? And again at 2:58, pressing the opponet face? I've never seen this before on Midwest Wrestle channel...

I was reffing a quad a couple weeks ago when the gym got so quiet that everyone could hear a mom shout, "YOU'VE GOT FIFTEEN SECONDS LEFT! DO SOMETHING!" But the best part was the coach's response. He pointed at her in the stands and then shouted to the kid on the mat, "WHAT SHE SAID!" 🤣🤣🤣

@@MidwestWrestle Such interventions are a real distraction for the wrestlers. Such behavior of the public should be banned in sports facilities.

I don't know why this came up on my feed. I have never watched nor know anything about wrestling. Yet I sat here and watched. Those are 2 great athletes, competitors, and displayed true sportsmanship. I couldn't help but think though that I wish I could teach my daughter to kick someones ass. Any boy ever puts their hands on either of these girls and they will instantly regret it! That's awesome!!!!

Blue wrestler executed what he learned in the gym very well in less than 3 minutes to earn a Fall. Take-down, maintain a firm grasp and wait for the call. Red wrestler needs to practice defensive moves to avoid or make a pin more difficult, such a rolling.
