Such a clever piece of equipment! Is it possible to program the Captain on a computer, rather than the screen that is on the pedal? I don’t think my old eyes would be able to use that small screen effectively.

When I get one, I plan to use Reaper, my go-to plug-ins and call it a day.

Im having trouble with the midi ports on the unit. I can not get it to acutal take midi in and map it in any software. Is there a solution to this? The buttons on the unit are registering but not any external midi decice

Hey just wanted to come here and say I received my CE-1 unit yesterday, in San Diego California, it took around a week or less to get here if anybody is wondering, it comes with a hard case, great for storing and moving around, I installed a daw and ez drummer, I am buying a neural dsp plugin later today since I didn't have any of those plugins, everything seems to be working a-ok, thank you Wilson and PaintAudio!

Wilson i just recieved my unit and it ROCKS!!! Thank you!!! THis is what ive been waiting for for years!! Now im in the long process of installing things. Also you re definately right about mouse keyboard and a monitor for editing. Latency feels on par to my main computer with Thunderbolt 3 with NDSP Gojira ang GUITAR RIG 7 . THank You AGAIN . Another great use for your product - if it will pass MIDI correctly to software - is as a drum sample library player for controlling with ePads. Also, I have yet to see any software synths being played with a keyboard which is similar to the ePad utilization.

Will the Intel N200 CPU be sufficient for running Native Instruments Ultimate (Synth VSTs), which requires at least an Intel i5 CPU?

Wilson, i have a unit I bought from you guys but i noticed its already saying in maxed out on storage. Only showing 100gbs locally. I see another storage device separately from it, is there a way to combine them to get the full 256gbs which was promised?

Be aware that PaintAudio support do not answer any e-mails. I send some mails belonging to KPP configuration setup file but didn’t get any reaction. I ordered my mini 6 via Amazon, so no problem to give it back.

I like your products and your design ideas which are very musician friendly. I’m a bit shocked at the price, but with the interface and screen and the sw integration, I will learn more and perhaps the price is justified. However I am very excited at the possibilities and congratulations on producing a very desirable piece of gear 👍

hi wilson, how do I make the buttons go to "initial state" once I go to a different button? Right now, when I go to a different button and go back to the first button, it switches to state#2 of the previous button.

I was sad to see Melo Audio leaving the guitar world for consumer audio products. But now I found you again as part of Paint audio! That‘s awesome!! So glad you keep developing guitar tech! Do you think Paint Audio will develop something new for iPad? A successor to the TS Mega that combines midi foot pedal and audio interface? That would be super awesome!

Very interesting. A small internal battery can be added to have Standby functionality to power up instantly. However 17 seconds are not bad, even my HX STOMP boots in about 10 seconds.
