Man, I'm glad this game was cancelled, this looks nauseating and hard to control(not to mention the development hell history). Not even in a early 3D platformer game way, it really looks like whoever's playing is struggling to move through tunnels and whatnot. And this kind of perspective would be more fitting for slower games, not a mainline sonic game.

Footage from this game always gives me heavy creepy pasta vibes, like I am watching something forbidden that shouldn't exist (and doesn't technically exist in a finished format). The "Space Queens" music track only enhances this strange feeling I get.

I really like this level in particular and the graphical style of this game. Feels like the genesis levels were brought right into 3D

Honestly I think it’s an unfair question to ask whether or not this game would’ve been good. Frankly it had no chance of even coming out. The odds were against it so much with the bad politics in the company and Naka not wanting a sonic game developed without his involvement. Plus pretty much all the footage of prototypes look really unfinished. Honestly this game was in its very early stages for its entire development and that’s not due to laziness at all, I mean people almost died making it. The amount of switching of concepts and game types during the development process combined with what was going on surrounding the game’s development at sega honestly makes me feel that this game had no chance of ever coming out which is why the question as to whether or not it would have been good is honestly not a very good question in this game’s case.

I litterly don't know why this is making me cry, maybe the fact that a game that could of been so good! it could of changed sonic for the future for all we know. What could have been an awesome game with awesome music and visuals, maybe even make it bigger than Mario 64. As horrible as the development was I wish this game could of came out.
