I used to be fat bro some people eat carbs for every meal and thats why their insulin sensitivity is off. Carbs arent bad they just shouldnt form the basis of our nutrition

This isn’t HICT- there needs to be deliberate pauses between reps and every rep has to be done at near max intensity. That’s the only way to recruit those fast twitch fibres

Please may I ask if your shearer’s fitness program is still available to buy/download?
It depends on the sheep. At one stage in my life I could ride 150kms in 5 hours with no issues, and feel fine the next day. I was shearing full time at the time. I did 2 half ironman triathlons on Saturdays and come Monday I was fine. A couple of years before I would do 8 hours on xbreds in NZ, get 9 hours sleep, and still be stuffed the next day. I could shear for 31 days on merinos in Australia and be fine.
@Limitlessnation20243 жыл бұрын
That's because shearers are not bike riders. They are hybrid athletes! Muscular endurance and strength have been over looked in the past when developing fitness for shearers

315 COVID19 deaths in Australia. Life expectancy in Australia is 82.5 years of age BTW. 85 people aged over 90 years of age died. 125 people aged over 80 years of age died. 72 people aged over 70 years of age died. 21 people aged over 60 years of age died. 8 people aged over 50 years of age died. 2 people aged over 40 years of age died. 2 people aged over 30 years of age died. If you remove all those that died under the age of 70 (the average of 70/80/90 is 80), then Australia has only had 33 deaths. Either way, COVID19 has not been a threat to Australia. The 2019 flu killed almost 1000 people of all ages. www.health.gov.au/resources/covid-19-deaths-by-age-group-and-sex

Shearing merinos in Australia you can train a lot more than shearing Xbreds in NZ. Its a lot easier as you dont have the weight in Oz, as the sheep are generally smaller and not as strong. When I was 35 I was shearing 40-50 a run in Oz and training up to 15 hours a week triathlon. I competed in 2 half ironmans and did ok, but my knee gave me problems in both (I was warned 5 years earlier not to run anymore). Now at 47 I am shearing around 40 a run and doing 3-5 hours a week cycling. Way harder as I age, but still fun.
