If we take any values between 2 and 3 we get answer but the steps will be same or more than 4 will required. How to find possible low steps.

Actually, we can use the following tricks to choose x0 for reducing the iterations. 1. We can get the answers for algebraic equations in the scientific calculator itself. So from that answer, we may choose x0 nearer to answer to reduce the iterations. 2. We can easily guess that for what value of x, the value of function f(x) will be zero by using calculator. So we choose such x as initial approximation x0 to reduce the iterations.
