My grandmother was a tour guide in the 80's and 90's. She absolutely loved this house. When I spent summers there with her she used to let me help close the shudders at night. It was definitely an energy I haven't felt since. She passed away from Alzheimer's.

Thanks for sharing. I always love that city. I love the culture there. Don't forget El Mercado del Sol. River walks, Alamo.The Old Spanish mission. Summer time ,the whole downtown Fiesta San Antonio. Tower of America and the famous park. I was there in the markets back in the mid 70,S . Chinese already had business in the El Mercado del Sol. Actually there are plenty of Chinese and Vietnamese call San Antonio home beside Houston. Go to San Antonio and have some fun😍😍😍

This is not just a parade, it is a competition between several schools. The samba school parade usually starts at night and runs until early in the morning, it is the time it takes for all the samba schools of the day to parade and try to win the contest. (Google translate).

San Antonio attracts nearly 40 million annual visitors making it one of the most visited cities in America. It is a city that has nearly 3 million pople in the metro. It is a booming city with a strong economy. Several F500 cororations are HQ in the Alamo City. And just a little tidbit, the personal computer(Datapoint), camera phone and Wifi technology(U.S. Military) were invented in San Antonio. Strange reason to generalize a city as such.
