Man if we critiquing music I have to do the same for your show. First, if you are going to talk about an album run it’s a good idea to know 2020-2023 is 3yrs. Second, make sure you separate your opinion from what facts are. Nas picking bad beats is an opinion. My opinion everyone has picked bad beats especially if you’ve been in the game 10yrs or longer. Drake, Cole, Kendrick, JayZ, Eminem, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Jeezy, T.I, Game, Camron, AZ, the WU together and separate have albums with bad beats. The last thing I would say is if you’re tired of the Nas & Hitboy collaboration break it down for the listener to understand what specifically you’re looking for instead of saying all the beats are Nas beats but than say Magic 1 was some hard hitting East Coast beats. That is contradicting your earlier gripe about Hitboy production. Finally, give your opinion on a producer/producers you would like to see an artist work with. Therefore you gain credibility with your audience and whether they agree or not you sound more like a student of the game than a knit picker. Peace to you fellas 🙏🏽

This Nas and Hit-Boy pairing is redundant? I’m not sure if either of these 6 albums sound the same at all. I’m not sure how they got redundant. You even compared how Magic sounded compared to how Magic 3 and King’s Disease III sounded. Just bars and beats? Bruh! Isn’t that what people want?! A good beat and some bars! Your show is called “Beerz & Barz” and you don’t want to hear someone going in with different flows on the mic? Each of these albums to me were high quality albums.

2020-2023 is 3 years. Nas dropped 6 albums in 3 years. I think the beauty of all these albums is they all sound different. Nas and Hit took a different approach with each one. I don't think he has given Nas all Nas beats. I think Hit Boy has switched it up through out the entire run. 30 off KDS doesn't sound like a Nas beat. Pretty much all of Magic 2, Rare of KD2 .

41:37 The problem is rap music is so popular/mainstream. People vote for Drake bc they like Drake and the best rappers were not winning, just the most popular ones. Then you have smaller categories like best choir ensemble or some ish and the only ppl who vote in that category are the ones who care about it. They should make a rule that you can only vote in your genre or subgenre. Or at least make that a rule for the nominations! Then let everyone vote on categories like pop and international. I think they are trying to figure these things out tho, and that's why the nominees are a bit more relevant than they used to be.
