Amazon KDP recently updated their policies regarding use of AI generated content. A publisher is required to declare if they have 100% used AI to generate all their book content or only used AI in part (AI Assisted). If you have indeed used AI-generated images, it's advisable to answer truthfully. As far as I know, Amazon KDP does not have a specific policy against using AI-generated images. However, it's crucial to check the most recent terms and conditions on the Amazon KDP website or contact their support for the latest information, as policies can change.

Can you please do a video of using Tangent Templates? It is a wonderful help with kdp and there are never mistakes in the product but the videos teaching you how it works are not clear. T T does so much more than just lined notebooks and log books. If you understand how to use it. Sadly I’m still trying.

I'm unclear on what you did as the final step to get the entire cover covered in butterflies. I was with you right up to where you were duplicating the pattern and staggering it a bit but then suddenly you had butterflies in every space and I'm not sure what you did to achieve that.

Hello, Yes, you can use the same email address for both your Merch by Amazon and Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) accounts. Amazon allows you to have multiple seller accounts linked to the same email address. However, it's important to note that each account, whether it's for Merch by Amazon or KDP, is treated as a separate entity with its own set of products, sales, and royalties.

Thank you for this video, very nice and informative. I was looking at tangent templates the other day but I was not sure if you can use their templates without any issues for KDP books as they were not really clear on the comments for the commercial use of their templates. Have you been used it for a long time their templates and you haven’t encountered any legal issues by using them on KDP since they are a bit weird on their restrictions as of what you can use their templates for, I rather clarify with somebody who has more experience with them. Thank you for watching! Once you download your interiors from BookBolt, you can upload them directly to your KDP book creation page, and follow Amazon's step by step process. Otherwise if you still want to upload the college ruled interiors to canva ; 1) Download them from BookBolt 2) Go to canva and click on uploads and then upload your file. There are no set rules as far as I know, regarding when to upload your paperback/hardcover books; you can upload them on the same day if you like. I am unsure why you feel that way... but you shouldn't be afraid to publish your books as long as you have done the necessary checks to ensure you abide by Amazon's Content Guidelines and are providing value to your prospective buyers. Keep publishing. We learn and make progress by doing.😊

Thank you for the very helpful videos! One question. I paid for Tangent and downloaded the composition notebook format (it says bleed is required for this format), but when I add that with bleed to the kdp interior, it cuts off the edges and leaves no margins. If I do it without bleed, kdp won't approve it because it runs off the edges. What am I doing wrong?

Most welcome! Can only think of a couple things that you can double check. 1) Check that what you selected on KDP under bleed settings matches your interiors. eg. if you selected bleed or no bleed on KDP, that should match the Bleed selection you made when you downloaded your interiors. 2) Ensure that the dimensions of your cover are accurate by using KDP's template. I use KDP cover calculator: kdp.amazon.com/cover-calculator . Hope that helps.

Yes, for NO content books such as Composition books, you can use the same interior and different covers. And yes you can use college ruled interiors if they are suitable for the user.
