I was today years old when I realized Oleta Adams was the additional female member of Tears for Fears. Beautiful song rendered idol.

I grew up mainly raised by my dad, and the bulk of the music we listened to was Van Halen and Scorpions (with some Dokken and Ratt thrown in at the end of elementary school). Safe to say Van Halen was an integral part of my music taste and my childhood. I was especially enamored with this song as a child, and still love it. I genuinally mourned when I heard the news of his death. Me and the boss played Van Halen the rest of our shift in his honor. Hell, I still get sad when I remember he's gone. I find it hard to believe there will be another guitarist like Eddie. Playing for him seemed to come as naturally as breathing. I can only hope we get a guitarist willing to push the limits like he did in this lifetime. But EVH will always hold a special place in my heart as a revolutionary in guitar music. We miss you, Eddie. No question you're killing it wherever you are now. Thank you for this. It's a beautiful take on the song. Much love.
