Nice performance. I'm also learning this piece, about halfway done with it completely, but I want to record a video like this. I got the same piano too, I am just trying to lookfor good camera angles, is this the best one you found because I was thinking of using this camera angle too? and which device did you use to record? Awesome job

Simply amazing! You're officially among the few legends who learned and play it perfectly. I was curious, how long did it take you to learn this piece? Cherish your teenage days, young one. I am in my 27th year, miss the old times. when adult life hits it becomes mundane. Cherish every moment, learn new pieces and play your heart out. Best wishes!

Thanks for your wonderful wishes! I took 3 months to learn this 3 years ago, and picked it back up in a week recently.

I know the song is fast but still a little rushed in the first 2-3 pages. Consider taking more time after certain phrases, and use more wrist. I can see that you barely use your wrist, and one of chopin's most important techniques is to implement your wrist movement while playing fast. It's hard and will take lots of time to learn.

very sad that you do not own a grand piano. You should practice on a Steinway & Sons B-211 or something equal. Also, just my personal opinion, in some parts you overdid rubato. I do think this piece should be played in tempo without rubato. Just my opinion though

Thanks for the suggestions! I just wanted to show romanticism in this piece instead of keeping it metronomically even.
@bettloser
@bettloser Жыл бұрын
@@pauldong If you want to show romantism, Op. 10 No. 3 is the way to go. You could also play Op. 25. No. 1 if you have not already, both pieces are very easy compared to No. 4 you just played.

Backing an upright piano well away from the wall helps the sound a lot. This Yamaha doesn't look like a slouch instrument in its class.
