Having seen them numerous times in various incarnations of the band this was the worst version of the band and the re-arrangement of all the old tracks is truly awful. And I'm somebody that has collected old and obscure bsides and alternate versions of tracks for decades before Billy started releasing them on the Deluxe versions of the old albums. This is just really bad. I'd have to say they sounded the best during that 30th anniversary tour. Hearing that version of Ava Adore compared to this one is laughable and don't get me started on Bullet. Jesus Christ.

Nice one. I was at that gig. Was the first time I saw them. 4 times total. Last one a few weeks ago in Dublin. Never saw the full original band lineup. No Jimmy for this one and no D'arcy for the others since.

The thing about Darcy is she shot herself in the foot. During down time the other band members worked on their craft. They new they needed to be the best possible as their career was advancing. Darcy would pack up her bass for weeks. She spent her time with horses. There’s nothing wrong with that but you have to manage better. I wish her all the luck but I understand why she got the Axe from the Pumkins.

Even if billy himself asked her if she would played with SP. I think she was tired of dictator politics. Billys way or the highwaY and if you consider state of mind she was in. not a fan of the keyboard sound they are using during Ava Adore during the end of the chorus section. Maybe its just the mix but its way too prominent and sounds like its not tuned to match the guitars.

This was their first gig back in Ireland after that poor girl got crushed at the point theatre on the Mellon Collie tour. I remember watching this live on TV that night. They're just nothing without Jimmy.

I was at this gig, it was absolutely amazing! They played a lot of stuff from the Adore album. Ah man, I wish could go back to that time, such good days!

Without Jimmy, they needed THREE percussionists to fill the void he left behind... And still it's just not quite the same without him. We love you Jimmy!

Too much percussion. This is kind of a pretentious performance. Hideous Butterfly version. They're not the Grateful Dead and they should stick to the script. All those drums and they screw up the signature drum beat on 1979. Disappointing. I've seen much better performances from them.

Was 22 when Mellon Collie came out and purposefully ignored it at the time. Was a huge fan of Gish and Siamese dream, but living in that time, there was so much mainstream hype around bands like the Pumpkins and such overdone imagery in the MTV videos that I just got sick of any of the bands that seemed to be basking in all that glory. It's funny because after finding this video, I've actually have fallen in love with these songs and have watched/listened to this probably 20 times and have had Mellon Collie and Adore on constant repeat for several days. The audio recording on this vid is excellent and has a nice warm, vintage feel to it. Well done!

These songs hit my mind, body and heart like a shot of nirvana in my head. Its something they knew how to do.
