I started to work on my backlog too since like 2 years ago, halfway there, mostly i play online like my favorite mmo or some online deathmach, but when i feel like playing a rpg or wizardry or shooter single player, i hop in one of my backlogs, taking my sweet time and enjoying them, it doesn't have to be 100% achievements or stuff, firstly doing the main story and after that doing a couple or side content occasionally, either while doing main story or after it if there is that option, but i do side content after finishing a certain chapter or stuff for easier battles 😅

Your video popped up in my recommendations, I dont consider games I havent started as being in my backlog. Way less overwhelming like that haha My method is I have "slots" I pick/play games for. These slots are: Streaming: 1 game LP: 1 game handheld: 1 game leisure: 1 game This way, I can basically have a game for any situation. Then when I finish a game "slot", Ill just add a new game to that slot. But I have subbed both your channels and your Twitch! I look forward to your content. :)

I think only a game as brutal and "real" as "the last of us" can be adopted into live action movies/TV. Uncharted movie was terrible because it was always kind of unrealistic and came across as cheesy, I mean it was fine, but forgettable fine. In essence I think it's because the storytelling of the game is so real feeling, that making a live action show is easier than it would be for something goofy like dark souls or something. Why were the tomb raider movies so terrible? Because there was no real deep emotional impact or character development to them: they were fun platforming and puzzle solving, but that doesn't make a movie. In this same light, I think a live action version of "Life is strange" would work well as many of us fell in love with the characters. In essence I don't think it's that all video game to screen adaptations are bad, but rather most videogames have stories that just don't work in film.

I agree with you on some points lol. Games with great and realistic stories work well when adapted to film or television. The same can be said for games with little to no story but rich with lore. Look at what Riot accomplished with Arcane. I never realized a MOBA like LoL could be adapted into a tv show and have it be so good. Others, like Halo, have a very compelling sci fi story and is rich in lore, but for some reason, it missed the mark big time with the tv adaptation. I think it’s a combination of great stories that are adapted by people who care deeply for those stories. That’s why I believe The Last of Us series works so well

I agree with you on everything but one: the Joel and Tommy flashbacks. personally I think that would mess up the pacing of the show. As for the violence, they said the violence are only gonna be a key points in the episodes. unlike the game where it was everywhere.

That’s a good point. However, I think it’s fine if it’s done like once or twice. Actually, maybe just once. I did read an article last night about the violence. I was a bit disappointed but it makes sense. Still super hyped for the show regardless haha

It's not about taking violence out of the show, which a lot of ppl have gotten pissed over. it's about building tension.

It makes sense in the context of the show. It’s a great way to show tension. It’s kinda like how in the first two alien movies where they barely showed the Xenomorphs. It built tension and made their presence that much more impactful. I was thinking about what you said in your initial comment today. I’m more accepting of how they’re going to show violence in the show. It better be gritty though haha
