Have an ICE SPrint X 26Tour . With a rohloff hub and 44-32-22 chainrings with 47mm Marathon plus tires , it didn't have issues climbing hills with low gear inches of about 13 compared to my Ultegra Di2 bicycle of 28 gear inches. Max grade I climbed was over 25% , my speed reduced to 1 mph. The issue I had though was that it climbed half as fast as my bicycle, so had a bafung 250Watt motor put on it with a 47 chainring. It now climbs faster than my bicycle and blows it away down hills, the best of both worlds. On max assist, I get over 50 miles per battery.

Just purchased two Trident recumbents...a Stowaway II and a Spike 1 with the deluxe accessory kit. Being affordable, foldable, and made with quality materials and components made the decision easy for us.

I currently have the JEDD hand cycle. I think I have had it 15 to 20 years. 😄 Actually still works good. It’s 14 speed. It has 7 gears in the hub alone. Very cool design when it first came out. The bike was designed by a group of guys in BC Canada. Just wondering what’s new and good now. Probably would be looking for something that good on the road and some trails. Maybe a power assist..🤷♂️

This review focused just on this model/version. More modifications = more money, but that could be an entirely new video

@BikeOnDotCom Жыл бұрын
Which Hase is your favorite? We’ve been big fans of their Trigo
@garyseckel295 Жыл бұрын
@@BikeOnDotCom MY personal favorite is my Lepus with their highest seat offering. I ordered Rohloff hub. 2WD too, with twin rear suspension. Trigo can become E-assist and 2WD, IF desired, POST PURCHASE, in one's garage! See Hase videos!!! 3 Hase trikes here. 2 of them have Rohloffs and 2WD. Third one has 8-speed hub, 1WD at rear AND geared hub motor with torque-assist ON front wheel. Works very well! Trigos are hugely at-home adjustable for lowest or highest seat, etc, etc. Huge Engineering Level on Trigo! No Hase affiliation, just decades of experience. can the handlebars come down a bit and still avoid hitting the knees?
@BikeOnDotCom Жыл бұрын
Hey Cora - it's an easy adjustment with sliding and angling the handlebars then tightening with a wrench (you should be able to see this while on the bike/looking at the handlebars). Shoot the crew an email if you need assistance with yours or a customers.

The larger rear wheel allows the frame to clear the ground - to prevent frame damage from potholes and uneven road surfaces.

Unfortunately the suspension of all ICE trikes are inadequate. They need to add gas shocks.
@petervick47755 ай бұрын
Rubbish! You probably haven't got it set up right for your weight. Different elastomers or repositioning is most likely needed.

Really random question ... what rack did you have on the back of the Sprint X 26". I don't think I've seen one like that before.
@BikeOnDotCom2 жыл бұрын
Not random at all, we actually get this question often... They were custom Bike-On trike racks we used to make & sell.
