This is funny. I've been using the round wobble board at the local fitness centre for over a year, trying desperately to keep it balanced in the horizontal plane. Because I thought that's what you're supposed to do, Today I decided to see if I could balance on one foot; I suppose if I kept at it till the end of the year, I could do that. _No, you're just supposed to... wobble round on it!_ Too easy!

I still have an original Bongo Board that my parents bought back in the '60s. The mats were falling off so I replaced them with grip tape, and there's a small chunk missing from the roller but it still works fine. I find it funny that the label says "athletes" can ride it for one minute, the other day I rocked it for somewhere between 8-10.

Nasir Snow I’m having the same problem with both of my brackets for a dual monitor setup. We’re you able to resolve it?
@nasirsnow5002
@nasirsnow5002 4 жыл бұрын
@@maureenreilly1602 I was, First i unscrewed all the small black screw to loosen the joint up. Unscrew the black plate that connects the monitor to the steel ball joint. Then You'll see the steel part has a deep hole in the middle, get a flat head screw driver or the Long Allen screw driver it came with. Then put it in the hole and try your best to move it around a little. (the screwdriver will give you leverage). Then I simply put a few drops of olive oil on the ball joint part. I didnt have WD40, which is good because WD40 may make it too loose. the olive oil worked perfectly.

Nasir Snow Thank you so much! You’re a lifesaver! The olive oil did the trick for me! I was about to throw in the towel, so thank you!!! If anyone else ever reads this, I did it a little differently from above because i did not have the proper tools to separate the bracket from the ball. I removed the black screw going across the bracket and used a small paint brush to get a little bit of olive oil into the cracks. I then stepped on either side of the bracket so that it would not move and wedged a screwdriver under the connector part so that i could move it. Simply pulling it up did not really work, but using the screwdriver as a wedge did. All in all, if the brackets moved more easily, this would be super easy to assemble. For me, this whole ordeal took a few hours because of all of the bracket trouble shooting. It should usually take less than an hour though.

@@maureenreilly1602 and @Nasir Snow thank you so much. Mine is completely locked tight even after taking out the horizontal screw. My whole setup is taken down and I would have considered returning the stand etc and it’d have taken me days to organise my work setup etc if it weren’t for this. I’m going to try the olive oil approach hopefully that works. Edit: I just did exactly what you said. A couple of drops of olive oil on the ball, standing on the corners of the bracket and the pulling up on the connector part and it came loose. Phew, thanks again!!!

The screws for the post (the very first step) don’t go all the way down, so not sure how secure that is. The lip on my desk (not a Varidesk) is just a bit over an inch. How do your screws, braces, screw all the way?

I was wondering, would you reccomend this product over the fitter first bongo board?
@fitterfirst
@fitterfirst 7 жыл бұрын
Hi @aznstylz - The Bongo Board is typically used for board sport training, while the Extreme Balance Board Pro is a bit more versatile, as it can be combined with so many different workouts (lunges, pushups, planks, etc). Both can use used for balance training, with the Bongo Board being a bit more difficult, and the Extreme Board featuring rotation and adjustability. Hope that helps!

What improvements were made from the original model to the current generation? Are they the same size?
@fitterfirst
@fitterfirst 7 жыл бұрын
Hi yardape99 - thanks for your question! The most significant change on the new generation Pro Fitter 3D Cross Trainer was the widening of the foot pads on the skate, which were increased due to the effects that shaped skis had on the industry. They are pretty much the same size as well. Hope that answers your question!

Disagree that muscular strength is what makes it easier or more difficult. Much more to do with skeletal and hence muscular organisation. My suggestion to anyone using what is potentially a great all round tool, start very slowly to avoid creating less than wholesome movement habits!!!!!!!!

Guys, improve your ski skills doesn't need to be difficult (I used to think it did). I'll give you some advice right now. Look for a training program known as Avalorexon Training Program (google it). Seriously, thanks to Avalorexon Training Program I've improve my game. I probably shouldn't even be talking about it cause I do not want a bunch of other folks out there running the same "game" but whatever, I am in a good mood today so I will share the wealth haha.

Yes. The cord and base weren't designed to be removed quickly since it's very very rare for them to need replacing. If you were hoping to remove the cord to try some flip tricks, I would give our BoardRock a try (see the description for a link) it can be used with a roller too! Hope that helps!
