Hey Russell, noticed your box truck. What type of coolant do you use for it? It’s pink, mine is getting low..
@GwinnettLawns3 күн бұрын
I have never had to add any. The factory color is Orange and called DexCool. Someone must have done a flush and put the pink stuff in. OAT or (Organic Acid Technology) coolant is what the truck takes. They can be Pink, Purple, Orange etc. I will probably do a flush in the fall and put the Orange coolant (DexCool) back in as that is what it came with from the factory. Whatever you do DO NOT use the IAT (Inorganic Acid Technology) coolants, which were mostly the Green or Yellow ie Prestone from the early days. I use that in my 89 Silverado since that is what they came with back then. If you put the IAT type coolant in our OAT trucks you will create an enormous repair bill due to the mixture clogging up the water passages in the engine.

Something wrong with that hrx? I have the hrx217 200cc and there is nothing adding with the speed. I have to bring it down half to keep up. Have been using it just over 3 years commercial and I can tell you that has you're cutting is not even close to thick or short compared to Buffalo and kyk i have cut through on mulch and i only do it once. Besides all that i would take your hat over both those mowers. My straw hat is big but not that big and Australia sun is intense.

Hello! I have a favor to ask you. Is there any way you could measure the deck width of your trimstar 48" I need a precise measurement I'm going to drive 3 hours to go get one and I'm doubting the sellers ability to accurately measure. If it's bigger than 48" which many mowers are (not my Exmark metro) I will be in trouble, any help would be greatly appreciated!
@GwinnettLawns4 күн бұрын
The Trimstar decks are 1" wider than the cut width so the 48 is 49 inches from outside to outside width.

The only problem with the scraper is it gets snagged on everything because it has a sharp fine point, so that’s why I like the brush that it doesn’t snag on anything.

Flip the blade over and try again, you are centering on the countersink or the burred edge, not the hole. Use two hands to hold the blade and move the magnet out, the way you do it has a chance to push the blade to the side. You said that you will grind 10 passes on the light side and 5 on the heavy, obviously you corrected yourself off camera.

5.75 is transport height. It also works for hot areas because we raise the deck incrementally as it warms up and some years you will wind up cutting very high to keep it green. The LG mower is not designed for short cuts unless you’re willing to set up the machine for that specifically. My recommendations, buy a ZK. The best stand on mower available and this year it’s 3rd generation is available. Gen 2’s are on a nice sale!

Great video. I have this thing and it's a game changer. If you're going to use this balancer, use it to perfection. The blade needs to be level exactly. 15 degrees is too much off. I can feel the difference in mine if it's 5 degrees off. Balance it like you're sending it to space! Your mower will thank you.

From what I’ve heard the Ballard blades have more lift than other regular blades. That being said your soil type and having Bermuda high lift definitely isn’t for you. Tbh I don’t even see many people running mulching blades in southern grass types besides st Augustine, you’d likely be better off running mid to low lift blades
@GwinnettLawns20 күн бұрын
The Ballard Gold hybrids are high lift, the Ballard Ripper blades are medium lift. So far the ripper blades are the best we have used and work perfect in our Bermuda.
