It was a pretty good redemption for her character. In the beginning of s2 she finally accepted who she was as jinx and she wanted to die bc her being jinx only brought death for anyone that gets close to her. But at that time she wanted her death to mean something by being with someone she loves/ or having them kill her. Like in her fight with Ekko in s1 and fight with vi in s2. Isha brought a semblance of peace and reconnection to jinx’s softer side followed by a rekindling with her sister and Vander. However, losing isha and Vander again were the last straw and she wanted to break the cycle of killing by ending her life alone bc she blamed her and her influence for isha’s death. Ekko helped motivate her to try again and build something new. And that final scene was dying by not just a means to an end but in exchange for her sister’s life while being with Vander so she didn’t have to go alone, just like isha. After all the lives she taken without remorse, she was finally able to lay her own life to save someone else’s life. She was the big fat hero in the end. Them being in that type of situation was just an unfortunate circumstance/ fate being a bitch like what happened in s1 ep3. And Vi was just being vi in that she remembered his first death and she didn’t get a chance to mourn his second. And it was unfortunate that they weren’t aware of him reverting back to his beast form after being disconnected from the hive mind. All that’s said in done it was heavily implied that she survived and started a new life elsewhere by the ending scenes and the show runners themselves.

That's what loss does to you, if you love someone you will stay with them even at places where you might die also. Arcane is very good at showing how grief works, I hope those that don't understand grief, don't have to deal with it for a long time, it breaks who you are and changes everything in your life

as a big fan of the game and the anime, i saw the anime as a master of every element of surprise. taking maine's life from episode 6 set an example of how plot twists can change the state of the viewers while watching the show. events kept taking a drastic toll downhill and eventually led to david sacrificing himself for lucy. david's quote, "mom, im finally at the top of arasaka tower" tells the audience that he had fulfilled his mom's wishes but at what cost. im not really much of a cryer when it comes to anime but damn this anime hit my right in the stomach when the flashbacks rolled in. an anime that i enjoyed from episode one turning its back on me to finish of the main characters. it shows that no one is safe in night city and it displays in the opening itself. i wish animes could have an ending like this, doesnt have to be perfect, doesn't have to be horrible, but just satisfactory enough to leave a dent in the viewers hearts.

I just finished this show yesterday and it’s genuinely so good and sad . No episode I’ve ever seen made me feel like episode 10 did in edge runners. Not to mention how good “I really wanna stay at your house” fits this show.

I understand your point, I really do, and I also think it wasnt the smartest action. But I also know that in that moment Vi probably relived that one moment when she was a kid where she failed to save her dad, so she reacted like the traumatized kid she was. Also Vi is not known to make the smartest decisions so i guess shes pretty in character

100% She Faked her Death, Jinx is known to be the Houdini of escaping impossible situations in lore outwitting Piltover's finest and getting away. Throughout all of ACT III The writers were pretty much screaming Jinx will leave and in the AU Powder Should Leave Zaun & Piltover, Too Smart to stay in a bar all her life. Silco "Perhaps the only way to break the cycle is to Find the will to Walk away". Walk away, Fly away. Build a new life,fill her own cup. I mean the quotes were telegraphing That at one point Jinx would either be planning to leave after helping Vi fight the Noxians or put in a situation where Jinx had to save her sister. Her monkey bomb did not kill Warwick, Her bullets bounced right off him, The purpose of the monkey bomb was to weaken Warwick enough to loosen his grip and the perfect smoke screen to Leave discreetly letting her sister move on with Cait. Poor Ekko though, He may know she is alive hearing about the deleted scenes that should not have been deleted, but it was romantic and awesome and by the end it would have been possible she told Ekko she has to leave so He would not meet a tragic fate,still blaming herself for anyone who gets close to her dies. Or Not. Jinx went to BilgeWater I think if the Arcane Artbook is true. Jinx had drawn a huge heart around the place and wrote Snobs over Demacia and "No,No,No" over Noxus. So I doubt Jinx will cameo in the next Show,but I did hear Jinx's story is not over from the Co-creator. Act III.... what a turd. I can understand liking episode 7 but just do not accept it. The tired trope of alternate timeline BS used to achieve the feels is nothing but pumping a dry well. Stop using this nonsense to generate emotion and write better to generate that emotion in the actual story. The same sentimental string pulling can be done in every single story by using this BS alternative timeline to show "what could have been." We already saw it with It's A Wonderful Life, move the F on! Even though I was not a fan of episode 7 it shines compared to the crap that followed. Certainly there are the normal stunning visuals and action but that is where it ends.

Satisfying to see someone share in my hatred of Caitlyn. I don’t like her police brutality on Zaun. Who knows how many ppl she killed with releasing the grey and I have her hitting Vi twice. Once in the sewers and again near the commune with that Ambessa judo move. She lost an eye for her fascism and got to live happily ever after with our queen Vi. While the best protagonist Jinx lost everything.
