The Needle screws me over all the time. I always think when it says "play 1 hand," that I can only play a hand type like flush, pair, etc. Great game though. I want to buy "Slice & Dice," today, it looks really good

Wow, thanks so much! I wish 3.0 came out 2 months ago, thought maybe it would have done worse lol. The list is getting pretty long, it would be satisfying to see a 'binary search algorithm' for ranking.

We're very excited to check out 3.0 when it comes out! At the end of every year we go back to games we loved to check out their updates, sounds like the 3.0 update would be a great time to revisit Slice & Dice :D I've always meant to make a more accessible list for our list of games, sounds like now's a good time!

Thanks for sharing my game! I'm glad you liked the tutorial, I hate coding them usually but found a way that works for me. There's an 'unlock all' button in the book, which may be useful for you.

Me and my coworker have clocked over 100 hours in gunfire and it really feels like it’s meant to be played with another person because of the ability to revive your teammate and share scrolls and weapons and be able to combine the elements. I would have given up on it if I was playing alone. Once you fill out the whole tree and get all the characters and you have an unlimited amount of essence I think it’s the most fun I have gaming for the last couple of years. Shoutout to the illusion and paranormality+spirit feline. I also agree the dog was unplayable at the beginning but now it’s one of the most cracked characters. But yeah I think you guys should try schedule a few runs together and then you’ll make it way farther and have way more fun

So, I played Griftlands after you said it was better than STS. And honestly I don't think you were going into it with the right mindset, and as you were still unlocking things which is basically the tutorial. The depth with slay the spire is pretty incredible and I'm not saying you were wrong or anything because its a hard game to get into sometimes, but I don't feel like, from what you were saying that you had the mechanics down enough to enjoy it properly. Which fair enough, it takes a long time to get there, and the iOS version is greatly improved(With one main glitch that actually makes things easier) from what it was. Hope you come back and try it again and get a better experience.

They did a few covers of Adele of all people and actually made Rolling in the Deep into a much more angry and and pissed off sounding song, I like to say they Cormac McCarthy-ized it lol. And I loooove Beyond the Horizon. It sounds like a Bond theme to me and me and a hell of a lot of other people have been dying to hear them do a Bond song for AGES

Also the fact that these first 2 albums were made in a home made studio they built in Markus' living room. They only got the proper studio that they are using to this day for their 3rd albul Revolution Roulette

Haven't listened through the whole video so don't know if it comes up but to me the coolest fact about this album is that the Carnival of Rust music video was voted as the best Finnish music video ever made! Carnival of Rust is also their most succesfull song by a HUGE margin

Nice to hear your opinions on this incredibly addicting game! I ignored it all year until last month as it didn't look fun at all. But I was immediately hooked after my first run. Also, I used to listen to The Binding of Moonpir every day when I walked my dog. Do you guys still play Isaac at all, or just tired olf it at this point?
@thatvideogamepodcast2 жыл бұрын
I don't think either of us really play Isaac at this point, but it's mostly time constraints more than anything else. I'd love to dive deeper into some of the new stuff that's in there, but I'm worried about getting deep down that rabbit hole again lol
@CompleteProducer842 жыл бұрын
@@thatvideogamepodcast Gotcha, and yeah that’s what happened to me. I took a break and got back into it for Repentance, and an hooked again. I have never played a game with so much replay value!

I agree Jeremy Irons is way too underappreciated. Gary Oldman is the one you were thinking about for the fifth element. Just a great list of great actors who got accolades for their actor prowess, while Irons feels way too underrated.

I've been playing along with you guys, and I've managed to get to the final boss. There are two and it takes less time / turns to get to it than the first one, but it stomped me flat in 2 turns. I looked it up on steam and there were several comments saying the final boss was fairly easy, so I looked up a let's play of it and noticed the final boss had less half the HP as it did in my play through. Looks like they put out an update to make it harder.

I think Hades has overtaken Isaac as my favorite roguelike.The main reason being that the moment to moment gameplay is fun from start to finish. In Isaac, and plenty of others in the genre, you're not having fun on Floor 1. In Hades you're whacking shit with a sword in the very first room and having a great time.
