I have the 4, the 4.6, and the PC. The 4 and 4.6 are flawless; downright Glockish. The PC has been uncooperative with all ammunition. Will try Wolff springs and see if that remedies the issue. It sounds reasonable that the slide speed is simply too fast on the PC for the magazines. I would hesitate to say (at least in my case) that the recoil spring is an issue; every 10 load I've used except 200s and 220s feel like 115gr 9mm. Even the 200s and 220s feel like duty 40 ammo.

That looks really good. It would be interesting to compare it to the 4" version in .45 Colt, both with the heaviest Buffalo Bore ammo. I wonder how the slower but heavier .45Colt would penetrate compared to the 305 grain .44 magnum, and also if there is a difference in the time for followup shots.

I like the look , but jams and I'm not feeling the carry part with that pistol.

The Kimber 6xs does not have a very good choice of recoil reducing grips. J frame and Ruger do have many.

Comfortable and ergonomic are fine but dependability trumps them all. I tried the 3 of the 5 and decided that the Springfield met all three criteria!

I love my taurus Th9. Not really a big fan of striker pistols.

I installed a Holosun 508 on my G20. I like the shake awake and also not having to keep it exposed to light. It stays in my safe during the day.....no light in there. This combination will consistently eat a one inch circle out of a target at 21'.

I got a 7 1/2 Redhawk in 1983, then a 10 1/2 inch Super Blackhawk in 1985, both in 44 magnum. They were both great for still hunting back East but once I moved to Montana they were too long for Griz protection so I sold them and bought a 5 1/2 Redhawk in 44 Magnum and I love it! Shoots like butter and very accurate. Handles +P+ loads with ease. I carry it close to home and it is on my night table when I go to bed. For trips into the bush I carry my Desert Eagle L5 in 44 Magnum which gives me nine rounds of fire power in a chest rig. I live on the West slope of the Rockies on the edge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. We have a very large Griz population here so my pistols are a necessary tool. I trust them much more than I ever could a can of "Bear Spray"!

I carry the Springfield XDM Elite 3.8 10mm pistol. I kept the mag well on mine. I find it helps get a firmer grip on the bucking bronc that is a short barreled 10mm handloaded to the max.

I would add the Kimber mako r7 as well to this list. And the Canik mc9

Yeah, I could not have cared less about these models and just figured I'd keep my Glock 29 even though it's temperamental, but then I tried one of these and grabbed it immediately. My 29 hasn't been out of my safe in a very long time. I see no need when I have the Springfield.

I have the XDM elite and have shot my buddies 10 MM Glock and that’s what got me looking for one. For me no comparison the Glock jumps around in my hand and not nearly as manageable as the XDM. My XDM will eat any and all ammo. I put a Holosun 407 on it and am x300t. Keep it with me hiking or camping. Trust my life with it.

I have noticed that with both my Glock 20 & my XDm Elite, my trigger finger gets tired after a few mags of BB or Underwood heavy ammo. I have noticed that with my 510 I do not have that problem. The recoil definitely feels lighter with identical ammo. It is therefore my favorite 10mm.

I can't figure what the H you are trying to with the thumb safety? If it gives you the much grief just leave it off. You have a trigger safety working for you, too, and the gun can't fire until you pull the trigger. Still safer than a striker fired pistol.

I’m very proud of you. I’m glad you like that gun. Just make sure when your adrenaline is pumping and when you go to grab your pistol that grip safety is engaged. It just might not have the web of your hand clear up on the back strap disengaging the safety while your adrenaline is pumping.

I like the way the full size feels and I generally appreciate SIG quality, but I've seen too many issues with the SIG P320 platform. I think the XDM is the best platform for most people even though Chuke likes the FN. The FN is a bit too expensive for some of us.
