Try some Burpee's in the mix. They are a fun exercise, but take a lot of effort. This brings back memories of a teacher where I work was running a Spartan race and asked me to help train him over the summer. The race was in the fall. He had failed on most of the obstacles in the past. I had him doing burpee's, squats, deadlifts, bench press, shoulder press, rows, band assisted pullups, and a stone carry. After 2 months he did much better in the Spartan. The funny part is he is a hard teacher and some of his students thanked me for torturing the guy! 😂

Burpees are actually in the mix as of today...I was gonna "surprise" the world with them but ill tell you first. lol...And 100% those types of workouts are better "to me" than just lifting weights. Ive always admitted that workingout is easy for me. What was more difficult was remaining active. Keep up the good work in the gym. Wont be long you'll reach those couple goals..Have a good FRIDAY!!!

Good video man. Once a week I do a session which I call my cardio/ core routine. Usually incorporates: Scissor Kicks, Leg Raises, Jumping Jacks, Squat Thrusts (British style), Punching with light plates in the hand, and a variety of other martial arts type of stuff. Gets the heart rate going! Hope that all is well with yourself 👍

good..its a nice solid rack for sure. Again a lil short but only if you do pullups or want to stand inside of it and do presses..Otherwise Its great.

Nice light day. As I was watching tonight a thought popped up in my brain. I am always having strange thoughts pop up out of nowhere! It's a new name for a deload week. From now on it will be called wuss week, has a nice ring to it 😂 LOL! We all need a wuss week every once in a while. I don't belive in scheduling them as many people do in their training. Instead I'll take one when it is needed.

Companies do stuff to play with collectors. It's the same thing with knives. I don't get so many knives anymore, maybe just 1 or 2 a month and they are ones that I really want rather than completing a collection.

Def Leopard is one of my fa favorite bands. They made so many great songs! Hopefully this light week gives a much needed mental and physical break.

agree..growing up through the 70s and then really the 80s etc i was more into rap,dance,disco,breakdancing "electro",pop etc..BUT 2 things stood out. 1 i loved KISS from as young as probably 7 and 2 I loved Def Leopard from early 80s..Those 2 bands just captured me..Thanks for the comment and watching..

A light week is much better than doing nothing. It only takes a week to a week and a half away from squats to get sore when starting back, I hate that!. Great "light" session taday!
