Anyone have some feedback on how well this works with 38/357? I shoot a good bit of 38 wadcutters and would like to use one plate for 9/45/38SPL if possible. I know there is a recommendation to “use a large washer”. But how large of a washer(or thick)?

So theres also a way to modify the wiring on the case feeder to improve speed. I've used the double action plate for thousands of rounds its super fast and I personally haven't had a jam.

Do they mount the barreled action back into your stock and verify? If not I would say the testing is inconclusive. The stock and torque setting is going to effect harmonics.
@Blazinm3 Жыл бұрын
You do have a point. But what you are talking about is the variances you get from different stocks/chassis with torque settings caused by inconsistencies between the action and the stock/chassis. Definitely and important part of the setup to test later. But this is purely testing what the rifle is capable with out variances.

@@Blazinm3 i’ve been getting in a deep research for night vision and helmets. I’ve been wanting to get the ExFil bump helmet but I’m afraid the night vision mount may be a little bit loose overtime because it has a plastic/metal inlay. Do you think the shroud is better on the carbon helmet compared to the bump helmet?
@Blazinm32 жыл бұрын
@@NaterTaterOutdoors I couldn't give you a comparison between the carbon or not. But ultimately it will come down to the tightness of your bolts. My only downside to this setup is the wilcox elbow rattles a bit with pvs31s on it so I had to put a section of tape to fill the void.

Looks like the DAA runs with less jams than Dillon (once properly set up). Note: all of the case feeders stop feeding/filling well once there are less than 20 or so cases. That part of your test is not relevant. PRACTICALLY, I can not outrun the casefeeder with Dillon plate on my 650, even with motor (old two-speed) set to low. I have found the speed adjust is more a matter of reliable feeding with different case sizes, not how fast it will spit out oriented cases. The DAA looks snazzy and looks "different" but from my perspective does not have any effect on my overall loading rate. Maybe with the power drive systems and bullet feeder it would, but my volume of loading doesn't warrant that additional cost.
@Blazinm32 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, for most of us just loading with a hand crank we can't outrun the factory unit. But a decapper/automated press/ or rollsizer definitely can. Thanks for the info.

In order to cut down on 22 ammo flyers I have taken to weighing my 22 ammo. Generally, Out of 100, on average, 6-8 heavies and 5-7 light loads. The only thing that we can check is the powder load weight. No matter what ammo manufacturer, by weighting out my 22 ammo most of the fliers disappear. Just try this, you'll see that this simple thing works. Tighter groups to all.

Sk Match is good ammo. But the poi t wasn't so much about brands. Instead it was identifying the specific lots of ammo will perform better out of certain rifles. Essentially a tuned load from the factory. Same brand lot to lot can have various results.
