38 too and trying new tricks scare me as well As a kid, hurting yourself or breaking a bone isn’t a big deal because you got school. As an adult, it can cause problems at work or home (and healing from injuries is much slower the older you get). So that’s always in the back of my head

That being said it pains me not progress and pains me more to regress. Now I’m building my confidence back up I hope to be doing brand new tricks soon

Hate to be that guy, but the trick at 1:30 is not a frontside boardslide, but rather a backside boardslide. When you do tricks on obstacles, backside/frontside is determined by which side of your body is facing the obstacle, not the way you rotate. Since your back is facing the rail, it is a backside boardslide.
@averageskater900Ай бұрын

@@averageskater900 Currently riding them now and I can say they're great. They do start out as feeling like plastic, but after a session or two they feel like normal urethane. I got the 99a version, which they are still able to slide, but grip when you need them to. As advertised the 99a's are able to handle rougher ground compared to the STF formula due to the fact that they are softer than the STF's. They do come in a 97a version and currently only have three out of their 6 shapes in the x formula lineup, but I heard they are planning on adding more in the future. when it comes to price, at least here in the U.S, the price is relatively the same, however bones are a few bucks cheaper
