A friend of mine had seen it all, recording studio's, the crib of SACD, he lend his Minimoog to Michael Jackson for a session.. But when I lend him my OB8, there was this child like enthousiasm to get one of his own: it was the most inspiring synth he's ever had the pleasure to play.

As good as it gets. This man has changed my entire taste in the guitar. Such incredible hands…
Apparently he was an asshole of the worst sort. But he could play.

Anyone who says that such a virtuoso must have sold their soul to the Devil to achieve such virtuosity, is an absolute idiot. Has it not accrued to those morons that it just might be a factor of love and appreciation of the art of the instrument, that may have been the catalyst of their perfection?

God, how did the 80s manage to pack so much more character into the big flagships than we see today?! Especially since the Analogic nostalgia has only continued to grow...

Amazing these things are still revered. They are very basic and limited compared to modern stuff but they are simple to use and have the sound we all know.

12 pots per voice that need calibrating. So many delicious deviations/variations. You can't do that with a "vintage" knob.

Is there not one video of Segovia practicing? Learning a piece? screwing up 10 times before he gets it down? That would be an interesting thing to see. How he learns a piece. How he decides what fingerings to use, etc.

can we tell what song they WERE ACTUALLY playing? It appears that Django's tremolo-ing like mad until the closeup. Joseph is doing some odd sh*t and the drummer and bass seem to be doing some weird stuff too...and then we *could* discuss wtaf is up with Django's FEET! Wow!!!!!
