My Grandma's neighbor had one of these, named it Blue for obvious reasons lol. I was always amazed by how he could whistle and make such intricate and exact movements with his dog!! Amazing

Looks like this little one is doing the work of several cowboys on horseback. He deserves an Olympic medal.

This is a pale comparison of the original show " One Man and his dog," which was broadcast on british TV during the 1980s. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iX3Hqn5saN-Xmc0si=HJaX_O4eZdlFfbbf

I took my 4 Border Collies to Herding School.. 1 ran into the bush to hide, 1 layed in the shade and didnt move, the other jumped back into the car and wouldnt get out and the last one, the littlest started to herd, got to a point and said "what the heck Im outta here" i got home after 3 hours of "schooling" they ran into their aircon room, flicked the switch to the tv remote, then they ignored me the rest of the day. Yep, they're a smart breed... why should they run around in the heat chasing sheep when they can be at home watching tv.❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾❤️❤️

Border collies are very smart . We have one now that is getting really close to the end and I know when she goes I will grief like I would for a family member. She has been such a blessing. Even now she has to walk down to the mail box with my husband to make sure he is safe. She can only walk halfway now but she lays down and waits for him!! She loves everyone she mets!!

I’m sorry to hear that. It’s tough knowing she will not be there with you forever. They are an amazing breed, and a great family dog. Friends of ours just said goodbye to their 13 year old Border Collie go a couple weeks back. She was a beautiful, smart dog. She loved learning, and could do lots of tricks. Macy’s daily routine was to try and herd the family cats, but I’m not sure she ever succeeded 😊😊.

@ I think the only thing she has herded since we have had her is food!! Our two year old great grandson had a p& j sandwich and stepped outside with it and was holding it up ( high for him) and she thought he was giving it to her because his high was right at her mouth level! I have never seen a child get so angry,I cried laughing , of course I made him another sandwich but it was not the same as the first one. I still laugh when I think about it. After that they became best friends. She is so smart our Grandson was stationed in Thailand and had been gone about a year and I ask her if she wanted to see Brett and she got up and looked all thru the house for him. When he did finally get home she would not let him out of her site she was so happy to see him!! So yes I will miss her!!!

How old is she? Mine is about 3, her mom is a pitbull boxer, an Australian shepherd mix, and the father is a pure border collie. She is the most beautiful pet I have ever owned, and she is very loving.
@lindakeys1883Ай бұрын
@ about 12 years old. Someone moved off and left her and she was going around getting people’s garbage,the town was small and the police were looking for her to kill her! They don’t have an animal control officer so the police take over that job as well. I told my husband to tell the police to leave her alone and for him to start taking her food . Long story short he did and about three weeks he opened the truck door and told her to get in. The vet said she was about two or three years old then! She loves to play frisbee,and if there is a ball to be had it’s hers, but she’s getting where she can’t run any more. Like I said when she does go it will just break my heart!!!
