I need to block a number on my moms phone

This was extremely helpful, I couldn't find this info anywhere else! I tried tech support but they wouldn't help me because I'm not a resident of the United States. Unfortunately my new phone doesn't connect to my old headsets. I just pressed the "find headset" button on my old base and the old phones responded to it... I tried unregistering them multiple times, but they still respond to the base. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

It does not pick up the background noise, allowing one to hear only the conversation spoken into the handset even with the tv on. This was a big problem for my 92 year old mother and caused us great frustration when talking with her on her previous phones. My mother does have some hearing loss in both ears but the side button, audio assist, boosts the sound allowing her to hear clearly. Buttons are large and the screen is easy for her to read. It has a caller ID announcement which is a feature she uses to screen out unwanted calls. This phone worked out so well we bought a set for my 94 year old mother in-law and she loved it. Highly recommended for all ages. I like the way the backlight lights up the actual numbers on the buttons for easy viewing in the dark as my current phones light up around the buttons only.

I've owned my VTech DS6321-3 phone for over 10 years without any issues, and then suddenly in the past few weeks, I've kept getting the out of range, no power error message, without changing any of the locations of the phones. I first thought it was the batteries, even though I just changed them 2 years ago and they still showed a full charge. New batteries didn't fix it. So, I searched, and I've watched around 8-10 other KZbin videos, all giving some sort of 5-8-digit code after pressing *...then # and not getting anywhere. Then, I came to yours! First, your directions were super simple and catered more to my model of VTech phone, and whoa, it worked! I had to repeat the process a couple of times for whatever reason when it didn't register the 1st or 2nd time and then suddenly, it was registered! All 3 handsets are now registered and like 3 new phones once again! You saved me from purchasing a new phone and saving me over $100.00 and kept this phone from the landfill. When I try to deregister a VS112-3 model handset from the base by holding the find handset button on the base till it flashes, and then pushing the button again, all I get is a paging function but not deregistration. Does anyone have any suggestions about what to do or what I might be doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Thx Brian, I purchased 3 new vtech handsets to go with my single vtech base and single vtech handset. Registering the new handsets was very difficult using the instructions that came with the handsets.
