Thank you for the great pattern. Being a long time panty wearer (male) I much appreciate the high waist. I used nylon tricot (a bit harder to work with but feels wonderful). Full bum and a roomy front, what else could a fellow ask for? This pattern makes a panty for all day, all night, and playtime too ! Thanks again !

They may be what you call penny knickers but if I saw them in a shop window they would catch my attention. 🛒 shopping trips are always far more enjoyable when I see patterned knickers on display in the stores.

Ladies of all ages wore these type of knickers when I was in my early 20s, and certainly when I was a teenager. Then they became known as big knickers or granny panties. They went out of fashion, but you still get someone like me who loves them. If I 💕 loved them when I was young why shouldn’t I continue loving them?

Interesting stuff. If I had a tad bit more time between kids, work, animals, trying to relearn figure drawing and loving my wife. I have suffered through french knickers for her, still haven't made them just right 😅😅 Call me old school but, if you release a hardcover book on how to make, and what fabric to use etc... I'd buy it!

whoa whoa whoa whoa. I had no idea you had to take the seam allowance off for FOE. It just never occurred to me. I've got a few patterns that indicate I can use either FOE or picot, etc - and it makes sense now thinking about it, but I'm a bit miffed they don't indicate in those patterns that using FOE should remove the seam allowance. Good thing it's just underwear and we all know I'm banking on that stretch for a good fit, not my skills lol. Not yet anyway.

I 💕 love 70s style 🩲 underwear, male and female. These are the type of knickers I would like to see in a 🏬 shop 🪟 window, or on a washing line.😊

That is the best use for extra fabric I have ever seen. 😂 I did not expect that, and will most certainly be doing that for now on.

You currently have it held up at the bottom edge, barely in view. 34:35, for the Outro, please pan the camera EXTRA slow. It can't hurt to even pause the camera a few seconds so that viewers can see the details of the stitches up closer rather than waving the camera around back and forth. Thanks again!

I love how you are so thorough in explaining how to make panties and your gift of the pattern. This is just a wonderful teaching video. If I may say, I would appreciate either no music or turning it down very, very low. I found myself stopping the video to adjust the volume so many times, it took away the joy of learning. You have a very soft, sweet voice and I didn't want to miss a word of your instruction, but then, the blaring music would start and startle me! It actually hurt my ears and I had to turn it down. Again, thank you for this opportunity to see how to make "me made" panties and for the generous use of your pattern.

Fabulous tutorial thank you, I’m not sure I’d like the side seams effectively ‘raw’, would it still work if I were to sew up each layer of the side seams together separately & then join the two layers up just by the elasticated edges ? (Hope that makes sense)
