Very similar to India, only one difference is they wear helmet which is good thing. Scooters are very popular mode of transport in Asian countries.

Hi. I am planning to visit Iran with BMW R1200GS my2010. How did you manage with the leaded fuel in Iran? From the several GS forums I read that this type of fuel will cause damages to lambda sensors and to the catalyst system . Did you take care of it replacing in advance the exhaust Y pipe or just ignored it with no consequences ? thank for you answer . Vince

I did not have any problems with fuel with my standard r1200gs bike from 2008. No updates or adjustment necessary. Enjoy the ride.
