I think you are suppose to put a thin piece of seam binding type material across the upper back side to hold the petals together…..very pretty! Thanks for sharing. Mini ones would be pretty in my Victorian Christmas tree!

There was a display of Victorian children’s toys in the museum (upstairs from the library), near where I lived in East Sussex, as a child. Among all the other exhibits, there was an old peepshow, like this, but really battered, of course. I desperately wanted one, and tried to make one myself. Needless to say, it didn’t look anything like the original, or the beautiul one that you have created. 😂
