Nicely done Matteo. I spent some time on Iseo a little over a year ago and loved it. We did a boys trip across the 5 biggest lakes and Iseo was the only one I hadn't visited before. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was considering it is less known than the others.

Yeah...unfortunately still has that digital clinical over sharpened look. Microscopic sensors....nothing you can do about it. Mehhh maybe in a couple of years. Good looking video as always.
@matteobertoli3 күн бұрын
@@thuryn.mitchell nd/promist filters might help. I didn’t use any of those here, that’s why it was super sharp. Shutter speed was like 1/1000 :)

@@matteobertoli I must admit, many of the shots were quite convincing. In others, the small shutter angle and bouncing lens flares woke me from the dream. The progress in pocketable image tech should make me happy-it was how I fell in love with the BMPCC-yet still I resist.

It reminds me a bit of stuff I shot with the original DJI Osmo Pocket many years ago, but a bit more digital looking. Similar sized sensor but that old pocket has the ability to turn off a lot of the processing in a Cine-D mode and I had a set of magnetic ND filters for it so that I could shoot at proper shutter speed.

Tough times for sure. I've been at a production agency for 12+ years and the last 2 years things have really slowed down. Especially with commercials. Clients wanting Tiktok brainrot have increased.

I have a Sony FX3, Lumix GH5S and Blackmagic Video Assist 12G, is that enough quality for this stock site and how many are there in general? Is it worth using 6K, 8K cameras instead of 4K, especially the increasingly popular OpenGate?

Hello Matteo, always a pleasure watching your videos. I really love BMD color science! BMPCC6k FF really seems to be an awesome camera. I'm literally in love with my tiny BMPCC4K after 5 years, so I really can't imagine the joy of using such an amazing camera like the one you are presenting. Cheers from Rome!

In the UK all of my local TV/Film community (bar one or two people) have expressed how quiet this past year has been, I know several talented crew members who had months without any work which was unheard of previously. I expect animation and commercial sector work to be hit even further by AI going forwards, but I think we'll see a surge in documentary as people will trend towards content with realism/authenticity/human connection as we drift further into these AI waters.
