Yummy! You did great to land that Rascal on 10lb test, that must have been a long fight. A lot of folks don't realize, but there's a lot of flavor in that skin, my youngest brother cooks those filets with the skin on, it's not like a catfish.

No way, you made it up here to MI? And it was a year that I didn't go up to the cabin by in that area. Looked like a beautiful trip with some nice fights and catches! If you can find the places where the pencil reeds(bull rushes I think they are called) and other veg meets, that's where lots of bass hang out. Pike too. Reeds plus submerged grass OR lilly pads is where I was able to find a lot of summer bass. I got lots of rock bass along those shallow woody banks. Don't shy away from docks too. Lots of everything under those, they are great for bluegill. God Bless and I'm looking forward to your next one!

Perseverance! I once ruined my phone, flooded my waders for the day, and spent 10+ minutes getting a bass untangled from a root ball in the bank. Probably would have been fine if I just cut the line real close to it, but I wanted to get my hands on such a hard fighter. God bless and tight lines, Rev!

When I was a child my grandparents and uncles aunts used to take me out in the swamp Lakes of Missouri and we would lay trotlines one day go out pick them up the next day bring them back and I was the kid that Mama Said Knock You Out😂.... yep I popped on the head with a hammer each and every one as it went down the line of skinning and cleaning but I am talking about catfish and not snakehead but I get what you're saying
